Ethylene glycol is a colorless, transparent liquid with a faint characteristic odor, which is widely used in the oil and gas industry due to its physicochemical properties, in particular, its low freezing point, ability to dissolve water and prevent the formation of hydrates.

Ethylene glycol is obtained by the hydration of ethylene oxide.

APPLICATIONS
