PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Sulfuric acid 92% is a clear or slightly yellowish liquid with high corrosive activity. Due to its high concentration, it is a universal chemical reagent in the metallurgical industry. The product has strong oxidizing properties and is used in various technological processes for cleaning, etching and leaching of metals.

Chemical formula: H₂SO₄

It is obtained by the contact method through the oxidation of sulfur dioxide and the absorption of the formed sulfur trioxide in water.

APPLICATIONS

Metal pickling: used to remove oxides, rust and other contaminants from the surface of metals before further processing, such as coating, painting or welding.

Non-ferrous metal production: used to leach metals such as copper, nickel and zinc from ores in hydrometallurgical processes.

Blast furnace gas purification: removes impurities such as hydrogen sulfide from blast furnace gas.

Metal refining: used to purify metals from impurities and ensure high quality of the final product.
