Solvent R-647 is characterized by its multi-component composition. The organic mixture contains a combination of aromatic hydrocarbons, esters, alcohols, and ketones. High-quality European raw materials are used for its manufacture. The product does not contain precursors and has a homogeneous consistency, in which there are no suspensions or turbidity. The key characteristics of solvent 647 are transparency, the ability to evaporate quickly and give dried paints a glossy shine. The product has the appearance of a colorless or slightly yellowish liquid without signs of stratification.

Solvent R-647 has a less aggressive chemical composition than the similar solvent 646, so it can be used for gentle surface treatment. The product has found application in the chemical industry and mechanical engineering, popular in the market of building materials and automotive products.

APPLICATION

– Used for diluting nitrocellulose paints and varnishes.

Solvent R-647 is added to paints and varnishes in small portions. In this case, the finished mixture is stirred until it acquires the desired degree of viscosity. The product can be used at air temperatures from +5 to +30°C and relative humidity up to 85%.
