PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

D-40 dearomatized solvent is a purified petroleum-based solvent that has a reduced amount of aromatic components, which makes it less toxic and less odorous. It is commonly used in household chemicals to dissolve paints, varnishes and as part of various cleaning agents. Due to its low volatility and high ability to dissolve many organic substances, D-40 is a universal solvent.

Chemical formula: a mixture of hydrocarbons, mainly aliphatic and cyclic.

D-40 solvent is a deep cleaning product, which makes it less harmful compared to other solvents with a high content of aromatic hydrocarbons.

APPLICATIONS

– Paint and varnish thinning: Used to thin paints, varnishes, enamels and adhesives in household repair work. Used in cleaning products for brushes and tools used for applying paints and varnishes.

– Cleaning products: Effective for cleaning dirty surfaces such as stoves, tiles, dishes and appliances from greasy or tarry dirt. Its natural solvent properties make it an excellent choice for cleaning difficult stains and greasy deposits.

– Glue and resin removal: Used in products to remove glue, resin or label residues from surfaces such as glass, plastic, metal and wood.

– Cleaning products: Often an ingredient in many all-purpose kitchen, bathroom and even automotive chemical products.

– Anti-corrosion agents: Included in products for protecting metal surfaces from corrosion.
