PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Isopropyl alcohol (IPA) is a clear volatile liquid with a characteristic odor, which is a universal solvent and an important component in the oil and gas industry. Due to its physicochemical properties, such as high volatility, low toxicity and effective solvent capacity, IPA is used in a wide range of technological processes.

Isopropyl alcohol is obtained by hydration of propylene.

APPLICATIONS

– Dehydration and cleaning: Used to remove moisture and clean equipment from residual water before commissioning. Provides rapid evaporation, leaving surfaces dry.

– Equipment and tool cleaning: Used to clean drilling equipment, pipes, pumps and other elements of oil and gas installations. Effectively removes oil, grease and dirt residues.

– Solvent in production processes: Used to dissolve various chemical compounds in oil and gas extraction and processing processes.

– Antifreeze and hydrate inhibitor: Added to pipelines to prevent the formation of hydrates at low temperatures. Used as an antifreeze in fluid transfer systems.

– Dispersant and stabilizer: Used to stabilize suspensions and dispersions used in the oil and gas industry.
