PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Technical ethyl alcohol (ethanol) is a clear liquid with a characteristic alcoholic odor. Due to its properties, in particular, high solvency, volatility and chemical activity, it is widely used in the oil and gas industry for cleaning, process stabilization and equipment maintenance.

Chemical formula: C2H5OH

Technical ethyl alcohol is obtained by hydration of ethylene or fermentation of biological materials.

APPLICATIONS

– Cleaning of equipment and pipelines: Used to remove residues of oils, oils, resins and organic compounds from the internal and external surfaces of equipment. Effectively cleans pipelines before commissioning.

– Antifreeze and hydrate inhibitor: Used to prevent hydrate formation in gas pipelines at low temperatures. Added to systems as an antifreeze to maintain the performance of fluid media in difficult conditions.

– Solvent in technological processes: Used to dissolve components in production mixtures and clean equipment from deposits.

– Dehydration: Added to systems to remove moisture from gases and liquids in processing processes.

– Mixture stabilization: Used as a stabilizer in multi-component mixtures to ensure process uniformity and prevent delamination.
