PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Diphenylolpropane (DPN), also known as bisphenol A, is an organic compound used as a key component in the production of polymeric materials and construction chemicals. DPN is a white crystalline substance, freely soluble in organic solvents.

DPN is synthesized by the reaction of acetone and phenol in the presence of an acid catalyst. Due to its chemical properties, it is widely used in the production of polymers, resins and adhesives.

APPLICATIONS

– Production of epoxy resins: DPN is the main raw material for the synthesis of epoxy resins, which are used as protective coatings for metals, concrete and wood. DPN-based epoxy resins provide resistance to chemical influences, corrosion and mechanical wear.

– Polyurethane materials: Used in the production of polyurethane coatings used for floors, walls and other building structures. Improves the mechanical and adhesive properties of materials.

– Polycarbonate production: DPN is used in the creation of polycarbonate materials used for the manufacture of impact-resistant panels, protective coatings and other building elements.

– Adhesives and sealants: It is a component of adhesives and sealants that provide high strength and durability of joints.

– Concrete additives: DPN is used as a stabilizer and component in the synthesis of additives for concrete mixtures that increase their strength and durability.
