PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Oxyethylenediphosphonic acid (HEDP) is a colorless or light yellow liquid (or crystalline substance, depending on the form) with high chelating properties. It is resistant to thermal decomposition, oxidation and hydrolysis. It has a strong ability to bind calcium, magnesium, iron ions, which makes it an effective inhibitor of scale formation and corrosion.

HEDP is synthesized by the reaction of phosphorous acid and ethanol, which ensures its high purity and stability.

APPLICATIONS

Used as a component of formulas for fertilizers and plant protection products. HEDP helps increase the availability of nutrients in the soil, prevents the formation of insoluble salts and improves the effectiveness of herbicides. It is used in the production of chelated micronutrients to provide plants with important trace elements.
