Boric acid, or more precisely orthoboric acid, is a compound of boron, oxygen and hydrogen with the formula B(OH)3. It can also be called trihydroxideboron or boric acid. Boric acid is an inorganic chemical compound with a weakly acidic reaction at low concentrations.

APPLICATIONS

Boric acid is used to correct boron deficiency in the soil. It is added to special fertilizers that increase yield and product quality.
